“Hi Zoe, thank you for checking in! I think we are good for now, till the new year starts, LOL. ESY seems to be going well, it makes a difference when a teacher cares... Thanks for helping to get everything in place. ”
“I just wanted to reach out and touch base. We are getting into the groove of things at L’s new school - he absolutely loves it so far! What a difference!! SO many changes (great changes!) are happening. Thank you for helping to get L the supports he needs. We would love to make sure we have you there to help us navigate the transition into kindergarten. One step at a time, right? ”
“This year was so great and really reparative. Your recommendations could not have been better. I can’t thank you enough. All that to say I don’t feel the need to meet at the moment, which is amazing, but that may change here in a few weeks. I miss you but am so grateful we are not in crisis. ”
“Una oportunidad para nuestros niños para aprender y también para los padres”
“I can’t believe all the things we went through together this past year and to now be ready for the new school year. In one year I went from total freakout crisis mode to being hopeful for the first time in god knows how long. Thanks for all your help, Zoe. I’ll definitely keep in touch.”
“Yes! You were so helpful, Zoe. I appreciate you bringing up the executive functioning piece and other comments you made at the IEP. And I feel that just having you there made everybody be at their most professional. ”
“Muchas gracias por su ayuda el dia de ayer, fue mucho trabajo y muchas horas en este IEP. No se hubiera podido lograr un buen resultado sin su ayuda. Se lo agradesco mucho con todo mi carazon, todo su esfuerzo, y pasion que tiene por ayudar a las personas como nosotros. ”
“Zoe, you are amazing! You have been an amazing influence and help to our family! God’s blessings!”
“Our family owes you a great deal for all the help you have given T. You are wonderful and talented autism specialist. ”
“D is doing great academically. I can’t thank you enough. We still have issues but considering where we started... Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
“I just want to thank you for giving me an opportunity to speak to some of your parents! Everything about you was inspiring. That was the first time in many years that I have been able to combine a Spanish-speaking group of parents with English-speaking. You are truly a powerful bunch of parents and I salute you for your bright energy. No doubt your children will flourish under your guidance.Yours in advocacy and incredible programs for children with autism!”
“I just want to say that I am enjoying my kids again. We went to the park the other day and I just sat and watched them play. My health is getting better, too, now that I am not so stressed all the time. ”
“Hola Zoe, cómo está? Nosotros bien Gracias a Dios, sí estamos teniendo un buen tiempo con el verano. Espero que también ustedes estén bien, gracias acordarse de nosotros, nunca nos olvidaremos de todo lo que nos ayudó a mi y a E.”
“Thanks for all this information and for guiding me through all this process.”
“Thank you for reminding me to make sure that B is getting her one-to-one aide in ESY. B is putting together sentences and is speaking more than ever!! Thank you for all your help. I think you are worth your weight in gold! I will talk with you soon.”
“Thank you for the tremendous amount of help you gave to me, my son and my entire family over the past four years. Your knowledge about autism and your belief in C brought us through dark times. I will be forever grateful for everything.”
“J is doing real well! It is tough to think about how hard things were. I have to say we are solid these days. School is good. ABA is going good. You said once that your job was to work yourself out of a job. I think you have done it! Don’t call us - we’ll call you! Seriously, we would not be here now without your support. Bless you! ”
“I wanted to thank you for all the services you helped my son get. He has come so far...”
“We are doing great! M was on the news for the Summer Special Olympic Games!!! She is Champion Swimmer #15. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us. You are part of our village. We love you, Zoe!! ”
“Zoe, I just wanted to let you to know that Z did not meet the criteria for a diagnosis of autism when he was tested over the summer. He continues to do well academically and shows interest in developing friendships and exploring the world. I’m aware that statistics report that only one in four kids respond so well to early intervention but I think that other parents who might feel uncertain or scared could benefit from hearing how well things can work out. Z is 9 now (wow!) and in 3rd grade. He plays violin and enjoys soccer, reading, and exploring. He is so very curious about everything, it’s so fun.”
“Had an annual IEP after one year in the school environment. He did amazing and was re-evaluated to start general education pre-k. He is reading at an extremely high level and is considered a genius! ”
“Zoe you do so much for so many families... You help them realize their strengths.... You are a gift!”
